Recovery Support Professional

About the Role

We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated Recovery Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our treatment program, you'll work directly with clients, providing a structured environment that fosters early recovery and supports their journey towards a healthier life.

Responsibilities
  • Screen and process new admissions, ensuring a smooth transition into our treatment program.
  • Conduct hourly runs, documenting client movement and maintaining accurate records.
  • Monitor client sign-out books, ensuring accountability and safety.
  • Coordinate in-house activities, promoting a healthy and engaging environment.
  • Conduct client orientation sessions, seminars, and morning meetings, providing essential information and support.
  • Transport or assist clients to medical and other appointments, demonstrating a commitment to their well-being.
  • Conduct room searches and random searches, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Deny access to unauthorized persons, upholding our facility's security protocols.
  • Supervise clients taking medications, ensuring their safety and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Perform regular room checks, verifying clients' whereabouts and adherence to program schedules.
  • Monitor urinalysis/drug screening and breathalyzers, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Tour the facility regularly, ensuring security, safety, and compliance with program and regulatory policies.
  • Conduct fire drills and safety checks, prioritizing the well-being of our clients and staff.
  • Ensure facility cleanliness and safety, submitting work orders for any necessary repairs.
  • Complete written reports, documentation, and electronic incident reports, maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to interact effectively with clients, providing empathy and support.
  • Basic knowledge of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relations with staff, other agencies, and the public.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
