Job Description

Stratosphere Quality is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business development and fostering long-term relationships with manufacturing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate contact with manufacturing customers to generate referrals or leads for new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement new market strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Identify and develop long-term customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Sales Strategies and Execution:

  • Lead negotiations and manage complex decision-making processes to close deals.
  • Develop and deliver presentations that effectively communicate the company's value proposition.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

  • Work closely with the operations team to develop and execute weekly sales plans.
  • Share leads and customer knowledge with the sales team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Follow-Up & Support:

  • Ensure service issues are identified, understood, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Provide accurate forecasts through reporting to management using Salesforce.com.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of manufacturing quality and inspection business to stay ahead of the competition.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of territory sales experience in a service or manufacturing market.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com software and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Available to work assigned hours based on business need.
  • Proven sales experience in a B2B environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel to customer facilities on short notice.
  • Travel required.

Compensation:

Base pay: $55,000 - $65,000, plus commission, car allowance, company card, and first-year earnings range: $70,000 - $90,000, year two and beyond: $100,000+.
