Maintenance Reliability Engineering Specialist

At Perdue Farms, we're driven by a passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering premium products to our customers. As a Senior Maintenance Reliability Engineer at our Lewiston, NC site, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of reliability systems and processes within our manufacturing site. You'll be responsible for developing and managing reliability programs and activities for key assets, utilities, and support equipment to ensure maximum availability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement reliability concepts, including Root Cause Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance technologies, and Preventive Maintenance development/optimization.
- Drive increased production and uptime using reliability tools and processes, including Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Provide technical and engineering support and troubleshooting advice to maintenance and operational areas.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in rotating equipment design and operation, equipment strategies, and mechanical integrity management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Reliability, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering; Advanced degree highly desirable.
- Five years or more of reliability experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in mid-sized companies in similar industries.
- Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Precision Maintenance techniques.
- Experience working in the food industry.
- Supervisory experience.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma ideal.
