Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Harbor Management. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance tasks, completing work orders, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our properties.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential for success in this role. Previous apartment maintenance experience is preferred, but not required.

Your Responsibilities

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Completing work orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assisting with unit turnovers, janitorial, and grounds keeping
  • Participating in an on-call rotation for emergency and after-hours calls
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Previous experience in apartment maintenance (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A strong understanding of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC
