Position Overview

Dupli Envelope and Graphics stands as a leader in the printing sector, headquartered in Central New York. Our operations handle thousands of orders daily, facilitated by our cutting-edge technology and internal automation. We are seeking a Software Support Engineer to contribute to our ongoing expansion. This role is pivotal in delivering support and resolving issues related to both internal and customer-facing web applications.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and self-directed individual with strong communication and analytical skills. This role will report directly to our Director of IT and Software Engineering and will be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of both internal and customer-facing applications. This position offers significant potential for professional advancement.
  • Act as the primary contact for troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues.
  • Conduct research, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and identify solutions to address issues. Follow up with team members to ensure their systems are fully operational post-troubleshooting.
  • Document and provide detailed notes of activities undertaken to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with team members in operations to comprehend business requirements, ensuring applications align with end-user needs.
  • Propose and assist in implementing enhancements or improvements for greater efficiency.
  • Communicate at a technical level appropriate to the audience, adapting to varying levels of IT knowledge.
  • Develop technical documentation for key company applications.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Operations, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Academic and/or professional experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, Python, or similar.
  • Knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Experience with REST/API integrations, either academically or professionally.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow in the field.
  • Proven problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
  • Experience in creating technical and process documentation is advantageous.
Compensation
Salary range: $55,000 to $90,000 based on experience.
