The Supply Chain Optimization Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of supply chain processes across various entities, including clients and vendors. This position involves overseeing inventory management systems, conducting simulations, and analyzing forecasting data to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring customer inventory requirements and assessing material resources available, whether in stock or in transit, to maximize overall supply chain effectiveness.
  • Incorporating planning insights from external partners to minimize material and product inconsistencies, leading to optimal outcomes.
  • Negotiating delivery timelines with suppliers and coordinating schedules to ensure punctual product availability.
  • Collaborating with internal teams such as customer support, contract management, procurement, engineering, quality control, logistics, and warehousing.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess 3-5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 1-3 years with a Master's in Business Administration. Experience in logistics, material handling, and proficiency in SAP and ERP systems is highly regarded. Familiarity with inventory management and cycle counting is also beneficial.


Work Schedule:
This position primarily operates during the first shift.
