Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Member Service Associate to join our team at New England Federal Credit Union. As a key member of our branch team, you will provide exceptional service to our members, helping them achieve their financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Service: Provide efficient, accurate, and polite service to members, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Needs Assessment: Conduct discovery conversations with members to understand their financial goals and needs, providing solutions and recommendations to help them achieve their objectives.
  • Transaction Processing: Assist members with various transactions, including account openings, closings, and maintenance, as well as wire transfers and other financial services.
  • Branch Support: Provide coverage for the teller area as needed, ensuring seamless service to our members.
  • Business Development: Work with members to identify their financial needs and provide solutions, including business account openings, IRAs, and fiduciary accounts.
  • Lending Services: Process VISA, personal, auto, and home equity lending applications, working closely with members to understand their financial needs and goals.
Requirements
  • Experience: One to three years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
  • Customer Service: Previous customer service experience required, with a focus on providing exceptional service to members.
  • Cash Handling: Previous cash handling experience, with a strong understanding of financial transactions and procedures.
  • Technical Skills: Previous experience with Microsoft Office required, with a strong understanding of financial software and systems.
