Job Type Full-timeDescriptionMagnolia Plumbing, Inc. is currently looking for a Project Manager. This candidate must be well rounded and have a strong background in both Plumbing Mechanical Systems. Candidate must be able to work independently as well as work with and as necessary lead construction, replacement and retrofit projects ranging from $5k to $1million. Duties and responsibilities to include, but not limited to, installing and coordinating all facets of commercial plumbing and minor mechanical, managing labor, sub-contractors, and projects according to plans and specifications. Candidate must be able to communicate and coordinate effectively with all Magnolia employees, General Contractor, Owners, Owner Reps, Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, Trades, Inspectors, and Vendors. Due to the nature of commercial work candidate must be available for some after hours and on call work.Must be highly motivated and preferably have knowledge of the construction industry through field experience. This person will be responsible for ensuring the execution of subcontracts from project's start to finish.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Review construction documents and understand the scope of work connected to subcontract'sMaintain an open line of communication with project owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors throughout the processUnderstand and execute take-off for underground Utility systems to assist in order materials or preparing change ordersAssemble and submit subcontract change orders to clientsBuild and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure best pricing and service on materials required.Attend site project meetings as requiredConduct project site visits as needed RequirementsMinimum 3 years' experience in Plumbing and MechanicalMinimum 3 years' experience as lead technician on construction, replacement and retrofit projects in existing spaces.Journeyman Plumbing, Gas Fitting, and/or HVAC license minimumExtensive knowledge of all codesPortfolio or History of previous projects exhibiting ability to prioritize and plan work for efficient use of timeDemonstrate a sense of urgency for deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent customer service to both internal and external customersAbility to work with different types and levels of peopleAbility to assemble project submittalsAbility to understand job cost for project billingsPrefer Prior experience with prefabrication as it applies to Plumbing and Mechanical projectsMust be familiar with all aspects of Plumbing and Mechanical in the ground through the roofProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Salary Description Up to $100,000/year
