Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Department of Defense, RDT&E Community, and federal government budgets, investments, and acquisition processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and support other capture, business development, and operations professionals to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with team members, business development leads, and subject matter experts to develop and execute capture strategies.
  • Assess customer requirements, identify related needs and constraints, and develop value propositions through program strategies.
  • Develop and execute significant capture activities, including building industry and Leidos-internal teams, assessing win probability, and developing win plans.
Requirements
  • Requires a BA degree and 15+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree with 13+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Leadership skills to develop, organize, and execute significant capture activities.
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense, RDT&E Community, and federal government budgets, investments, and acquisition processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and business acumen.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% per month in support of the capture.
Desired Qualifications
  • Degree in STEM fields, specifically in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Math.
  • Extensive knowledge, experience, and success in winning captures with defense, national security, and other related agencies.
  • Experience transitioning R&D programs to operational end users.
Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Secret Clearance. A Top Secret/SCI clearance is preferred.
