Compensation and Benefits

Anthropic's compensation package consists of three components: salary, equity, and benefits. We are committed to pay equity and aim for these three elements collectively to be highly competitive with market standards.

Equity - For eligible roles, equity will be a significant part of the total compensation. We strive to offer above-average equity compensation for a company of our size and communicate equity amounts at the time of offer issuance.

Benefits - Our benefits package includes comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with matching, generous parental leave, unlimited PTO, and stipends for education and wellness, among others.

How We're Different

We believe that impactful AI research will be large-scale. At Anthropic, we work cohesively on a few significant research efforts and prioritize impact over smaller, more specific projects. We view AI research as an empirical science, akin to physics and biology, rather than solely a computer science endeavor. We highly value communication skills and collaboration within our team.
