About the Job

MJK Connections LLC is seeking a highly skilled Interim Marketing Operations Manager to fill a critical role at Sandia Laboratory Federal Credit Union.

This interim position will cover a leave of absence from mid-September 2024 through mid-February 2025 and is responsible for ensuring the smooth management of all marketing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with HR and OD to recruit, onboard, and retain high-quality staff.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Effectively coach, mentor, motivate, and manage staff to ensure delivery of communications to employees in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure the Marketing department fosters a productive, rewarding work environment that provides for employee development, meets established goals and metrics, and operates within the Credit Union's core values.
Main Responsibilities
  • Provide support to ensure all campaigns and activities are tracked and analyzed to provide ROI and insights for improvements.
  • Manage the marketing function budget, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
  • Act as primary point of contact for branch managers and the contact center to supply all necessary marketing materials and keep front-line teams informed of upcoming marketing campaigns and communications.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and target audience.
  • Maintain the website and app operations in good order, collaborating with IT teams.
  • Lead the development and documentation of marketing processes and workflows to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Provide creative support in the forms of creative assets and content development and production for the marketing team and broader organization.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to communicate marketing performance and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiar and comfortable with information technology, particularly digital means of communication.
  • Strong organizational skills in managing multiple initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum eight years combination of experience in marketing and direct leadership, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Minimum bachelor's degree or certification in marketing, business administration, or related field, or more than eight years of related experience.
