About the Role:

This position involves overseeing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations across various job sites. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of safety and leading by example.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion the safety culture within the organization, ensuring that safety is prioritized at all levels.
  • Demonstrate safe practices in both office and field environments by adhering to safety regulations and utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Develop and implement Project Safety Plans for all ongoing projects.
  • Conduct safety training sessions for project staff and collaborate with supervisors to create safe work plans for each phase of construction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Certification as a Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrated training and competency in managing safety for cranes, fall protection, excavation, scaffolding, and heavy machinery.
  • Experience in leading teams through the safety planning process, with hands-on project experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to listen effectively; bilingual skills are advantageous.
  • Ability to assess team dynamics and adapt strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Proven team player with the capability to organize and motivate a team effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with Procore software is a plus.
