Job Title: Construction Risk Engineer

FM Global is seeking a highly skilled Construction Risk Engineer to join our team. As a Construction Risk Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering construction risk engineering products and services that enable FM Global clients to enhance the resilience of their construction projects, reduce exposure to construction-related loss events, and ensure a seamless transition to operational risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement construction risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses and enhance account profitability.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to clients and underwriters on construction risk mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to identify and address construction-related risks.
  • Develop and deliver engineering-focused presentations to clients and their partners to provide direction on construction risk management.
  • Participate in external working committees and industry groups to stay current with industry practices and influence design and construction approaches for more resilient outcomes.
  • Communicate the status of project service plans and evolving construction risk quality to allow for effective and profitable underwriting of construction projects.
Requirements:
  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5 years of relevant construction safety management or construction risk engineering experience.
  • Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS), Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Program (PMP) is required.
  • Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Construction Health and Safety Specialist (CHST) is preferred.
