At HR Green, we're seeking a skilled Traffic Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our transportation team, you'll work on complex projects that prioritize end-users' needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work independently and as part of a team to apply engineering principles, standards, and criteria
  • Conduct studies, field reviews, and site investigations to inform traffic operation analysis and transportation planning studies
  • Prepare traffic signal timing plans, traffic impact analysis, and transportation planning studies using various modeling tools
  • Perform road safety assessments, transportation corridor studies, traffic signal warrant studies, speed studies, and safety analyses
  • Design work zone traffic control plans, traffic signal design plans, and sign and marking design plans
  • Utilize transportation databases and GIS tools for analysis of transportation systems
  • Develop reports and supporting documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Two plus years of relevant experience
  • Proficient knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Proficiency in VISSIM and Synchro is preferred
  • Knowledge of traffic signal/ITS design is preferred
  • GIS and database management capabilities are a plus
