We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our Premier and Strategic tier customer account teams at Teradata. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building long-term strategic relationships with our clients in the Financial Services industry.
Key Responsibilities- Account Planning and Business Development: Develop and execute account plans to drive sales growth and achieve quarterly goals. This includes articulating the value of Teradata solutions and building a sound business case to close sales opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with business users, customer decision makers, and IT departments. This includes coordinating targeted segments of Teradata engagement with clients and involving specialist resources when needed in the selling process.
- Product and Solution Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Teradata products and solutions, as well as competitor offerings. This includes staying informed about the latest advanced analytics techniques and how they apply to business decisions.
- Team Selling Environment: Excel in a team selling environment focused on client benefit and overall success of the Teradata Account Team. This includes building and maintaining long-term strategic relationships with clients.
- Experience: 5-10 years of quota-carrying sales or related customer interaction role, business development, inside sales. Door opener and hunter sales personality.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Skills: Successful track record in closing sales, lead conversion, business development, converting new prospects into customers. Experience with CRM applications to document sales opportunities progress with discipline, forecasting policies, close plans, targeted marketing techniques, account planning both processes and methodologies, and commonly used tools.
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the finance/banking industry a plus.
