As the Vice President of Investment Management at First Western, you will be instrumental in assisting affluent clients in reaching their financial aspirations. Collaborating closely with our Wealth Management division, you will provide integrated solutions that surpass client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish individual annual sales targets aligned with overall office objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison for investment management clients, fostering strong relationships with colleagues.
  • Drive the expansion and enhancement of the Profit Center's investment portfolio.
  • Identify new client opportunities and develop investment management proposals.
  • Collaborate with the team to offer prospective, new, and existing clients a comprehensive approach that includes all bank products and services.
  • Create asset allocation strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Draft and revise investment policy statements for clients while monitoring portfolios for compliance.
  • Conduct quarterly meetings with clients to assess investment performance.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to clarify investment outcomes and market trends; evaluate portfolios for tax efficiency.
  • Stay informed about and adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Familiarize yourself with and comply with all company policies as outlined on the company's internal platform.
  • Review the Associate Handbook and Company Policies annually as directed by Human Capital.
  • Complete and comply with the Company’s Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest Questionnaire and Policy Acknowledgment.
  • Fulfill all assigned training requirements promptly.
  • Embrace and uphold First Western's Core Values.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experienced in utilizing Financial Planning software.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adept at presenting information to senior management, clients, and potential clients.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master's Degree, such as an MBA, is preferred.

Experience Requirements:

A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant investment management experience is required, along with 3-5 years of experience in business development within the local market.

Licenses/Certifications:

Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is required upon hire.
