Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer to lead the installation, commissioning, and start-up of Mechanical Equipment Installation Projects at our client's Greenfield Manufacturing Facility in Ohio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of projects in compliance with project schedules and budgets
  • Review and evaluate technical documentation, engineering drawings, and deliverables
  • Develop and review project schedules based on available information
  • Coordinate with on-site teams, clients, and contractors as an owner-representative
  • Communicate project status and needs between departments and stakeholders
  • Inspect installation work to ensure compliance with contractual commitments
  • Meet with contractors and customers to ensure project completion according to schedule
  • Write project reports and correspondence detailing project status and issues
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience in equipment installation and/or construction of manufacturing facilities for the automotive industry
  • Solid understanding and expertise in manufacturing equipment installations
  • MS Project scheduling experience desired
  • Ability to work daily onsite at Jeffersonville, OH, with daily per diem available
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related work experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
