Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead VFX Artist to join our team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compositing with expertise in Nuke and a proven ability to lead a team of VFX artists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the visual effects workflow, ensuring efficient project timelines and adherence to deadlines.
  • Develop and execute the overall look and feel of visual effects for each project, working closely with the director and production team.
  • Oversee the VFX pipeline, maintaining high standards of VFX output and ensuring that all visual effects are delivered on time and meet creative expectations.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their vision and provide creative solutions for VFX needs.
Requirements
  • Expert in Nuke: Extensive experience in compositing and VFX creation using Nuke.
  • Team Management: Proven experience in leading VFX teams and managing artists in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience: Previous experience at a major VFX house with credits in commercials, music videos, TV, or film.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to develop and implement creative solutions to complex visual effects challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail and quality, with the ability to oversee and maintain high standards of VFX across projects.
Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with additional VFX software (such as After Effects, Maya, or Houdini).
  • Experience in managing VFX for large-scale projects or multiple projects simultaneously.
