Job Title: Senior Cloud Software Development Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Software Development Engineer to join our team at Oracle. As a member of our software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience delivering and operating large software systems at scale.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in at least one (preferably two) of the following languages: Java, Python, C/C++, C# or Golang.
- Strong grasp of computer science concepts (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems fundamentals).
- Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP), and standard network architectures.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills.
- Working familiarity with the UNIX operating system and related tools.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
