Job Summary

Verint Systems is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Cloud Platform team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing services on our Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software applications using programming languages such as Python and Java.
  • Provision, configure, and maintain Cloud infrastructure defined as code.
  • Monitor cloud services and troubleshoot problems across a wide array of cloud services and functional areas.
  • Employ Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodology to enable automation in building, testing, and deployment of applications.
  • Participate in sprint meetings and design reviews.
  • Write specifications and documentation for feature requirements in a process-oriented fashion.
  • Participate in project planning meetings to share knowledge of system options, risk, impact, and costs vs. benefits.
  • Perform routine application maintenance to ensure the production environment runs smoothly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related technical field.
  • 0-3 years software development experience specifically OOP (Object Oriented programming).
  • Experience with Terraform, Jenkins, Python, and AWS services such as EC2, DynamoDB, RDS, Route53, Lambda, Security Groups, ALBs, NLBs, IAM, Systems Manager, and CloudWatch.
  • Source control tools such as Git, Jira, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience in a DevOps role utilizing AWS/Azure/GCP cloud.
  • Experience with databases such as MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of various Software Development Methodologies (particularly Agile) and experience in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Java, Typescript, and NodeJS.
  • Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration.
  • Experience with Docker.
