Emergency Medical Technician

The Hampden County Sheriff's Office is seeking a dedicated Medical Professional to join our team in providing high-quality healthcare services to justice-involved individuals.
As an EMT with our office, you will work closely with healthcare professionals and security personnel in a correctional environment, providing vital care and support to those in need.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing medical care and support to justice-involved individuals
- Working with healthcare professionals and security personnel to ensure seamless care
- Participating in on-site emergency responses and withdrawal management
- Conducting admission intake screenings and vital sign checks

Requirements:
- Massachusetts Basic EMT certificate or higher
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years field experience as an EMT
- CPR/AED and First Aid certified
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must pass drug screening and medical clearance
- Must pass criminal background check
