Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists with prescription filling, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service to our patients and customers.

• Assist pharmacists with prescription filling, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, prescriptions, and inventory
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient and effective operation of the department
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Basic math skills and accuracy in counting and measuring medications
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
