Lead Our Beverage Program

Bouchon Bistro - Coral Gables is seeking a talented Floor Head Sommelier to lead our beverage program. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager and Beverage Director to create an exceptional wine experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Beverage Program: Align the beverage program with the restaurant's and Chef Keller's philosophy, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Staff Training: Deliver training on the beverage program to enhance knowledge and service standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory and manage orders for beverages, maintaining budgeted levels and adjusting based on consumption and sales trends.
  • Team Support: Oversee and support the beverage team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and address any needs or issues.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of service experience.
  • Certifications: Wine Certification (Advanced Sommelier Certification preferred) and State Health Certification.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, including knowledge of POS micros, MS Excel, and MS Word.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
