Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

At HACD, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing professional work of varying degrees of difficulty and responsibility in the preparation and administration of agency budgets and the conduct of economic research and studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of operating, net position, and cash flow budgets
  • Responsible for monthly analytical reviews of actual versus budget and prior year results
  • Responsible for account analyses to ensure quality control over financial and operational reporting
  • Maintain capital asset and depreciation schedules to facilitate safeguarding of assets, allocations, and financial reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts in connection with asset repositioning, including HUD Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD), Streamlined Voluntary Conversions (SVC), other Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), and other real property development and mixed finance transactions
  • Assist in the preparation of pro-forma financial statements in connection with asset repositioning financial analyses and reports for existing and potential investor partners
  • Participate in the review of affiliated entity tax returns prepared in connection with mixed finance transactions
  • Participate in the enterprise-wide financial system conversion and in the implementation of new technologies
  • Participate in the documentation of finance policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree of Science from an accredited college or university, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Budgeting, Accounting, and Forecasting
  • A minimum of two years of audit experience in a certified public accounting firm
