Job Description:

About the Role:
This 13-week contract position involves working as part of a dedicated team to provide administrative support in various aspects of patient care. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information and medical history
- Assist healthcare professionals with various tasks, such as preparing patients for examinations and procedures
- Respond to phone calls and emails from patients, families, and healthcare providers in a professional and courteous manner
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as a Medical Assistant
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
