Job Overview

Work Environment: This position is fully onsite and operates Monday through Friday.

Contract Duration: This role is offered as an 8-month contract with opportunities for extension or transition to a full-time position.

Role Summary:
  • The HR Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting various human resources initiatives and managing essential administrative functions within the HR department.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Address incoming inquiries from staff and external partners through various communication channels, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate resources.
  • Perform audits of employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS) and make necessary updates.
  • Oversee the maintenance of policies, procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and informational posters within the office.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
  • Compile and generate reports for open enrollment, Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO-1) reporting.
  • Assist employees with inquiries related to benefits.
  • Conduct annual open enrollment activities.
  • Prepare data for ACA reporting and EEO-1 submissions.
  • Maintain employee records within the HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Manage requests for identification badges, employment verifications, and distribution of labor law posters.
  • Support the development and revision of HR policies.
Qualifications:

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in an HR Coordinator role or a similar capacity.
  • Familiarity with HR and payroll software, as well as recruitment tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management abilities.
  • Capability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred educational background: High School Diploma, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree.
