Job Summary

Elgen Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist - Setup to join their team in Worcester. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision metal fabrication and be proficient in operating CNC machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC manufacturing equipment to produce high-tolerance parts
  • Perform in-process inspections and record results
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machine set-up and production methods
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and clean work areas
  • Special projects as needed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Solidworks or similar software
  • Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions
  • Intermediate math skills and computer skills
  • Ability to understand and use Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
