CNC Machinist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Randstad. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality products. Your expertise in programming and quality control will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of precision and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and routers, to produce complex parts and products.

Load and unload materials, tools, and fixtures, ensuring efficient and safe operation of the machines.

Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency, making adjustments as needed to achieve optimal results.

Programming and Quality Control:

Create or modify CNC programs using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software, verifying and testing programs to ensure accuracy and quality.

Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards, using measuring instruments to verify dimensions.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure proper functioning, reporting any equipment malfunctions or problems to the maintenance team.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal productivity.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist, with a strong background in programming and quality control.

Proficiency in CAM software and CNC machine operation, with a focus on precision and accuracy.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with CNC machines.
