Job Overview

Affiliated Monitoring is a leading provider of alarm monitoring services across North America, specializing in Burglary, Fire, and Life Safety systems.

We are seeking a Technical Operations Analyst to enhance our operational efficiency. In this pivotal role, you will focus on refining our alarm processing systems. Your collaboration with the Technology, Support, and Alarm Monitoring teams will be essential in developing and maintaining workflows and automated processes tailored to meet diverse customer requirements.

Your support of our automation platforms will play a crucial role in our efforts to enhance processes and introduce innovative features. We are looking for a proactive team member who can address challenges, engage in problem-solving, and work closely with internal teams while possessing the technical expertise to assist clients in implementing their monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become a Subject Matter Expert for our Alarm Monitoring Platform.
  • Design solutions for workflow needs and implement changes to the automation platform.
  • Conduct functionality testing and manage configuration changes across various systems.
  • Support system upgrades, table maintenance, training, data entry, file uploads, and report generation.
  • Identify and report issues for cross-functional teams and collaborate with Vendors/IT.
  • Serve as an escalated resource for internal technical support.
  • Assist in the evaluation and integration of new products and services.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of scripting experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an IT or Helpdesk environment.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting team initiatives.
  • Proficient in documenting and adhering to established business processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
  • Excellent process management skills with the capacity to coordinate cross-functional teams.
