Responsibilities include verifying identities, addressing inquiries, and guiding individuals to their designated areas within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet and assist all individuals entering the premises, performing security checks as necessary.
2. Ensure that all personnel utilize their assigned identification badges for entry and assist those who may have misplaced theirs.
3. Conduct regular patrols of assigned zones, reporting any suspicious behavior to the appropriate authorities.
4. Oversee surveillance systems, inspect the premises, and monitor gatherings.
5. In emergency situations, promptly contact law enforcement or fire services.
6. After hours, verify that all entry points are secured.
7. Investigate reports of unusual activity on the grounds.
8. Detain individuals suspected of unlawful actions until law enforcement arrives.
9. Safely escort individuals who are no longer authorized to remain on the property.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
LEVEL I - 0-3 years of relevant experience; High School Diploma or equivalent required. A Bachelor's Degree or a suitable combination of education and experience is preferred. All necessary certifications for the role must be obtained. Tasks are straightforward and of moderate complexity, with decisions made regarding personal work and priorities.
LEVEL II - 3-5 years of relevant experience; Associate's or Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. All necessary certifications for the role must be obtained. Tasks are varied, requiring independent decision-making.
LEVEL III - 5+ years of relevant experience; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. All necessary certifications for the role must be obtained. Regularly exercises independent judgment on significant matters within established procedures.
LEVEL IV - High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. All necessary certifications for the role must be obtained. Leads complex projects and provides guidance to staff on non-routine issues.
