Senior Vice President of Operations

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the operational performance of clinical areas within the Pacific Northwest market
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term operational goals and plans
  • Ensure alignment with regional, national, and system priorities
  • Translate initiatives into timely action plans with measurable performance
  • Drive operational excellence and standard work across the region
Culture and Strategy:
  • Lead the organization with integrity and accountability, modeling commitment to Optum's Values
  • Foster a safe, healthy, positive, and productive work environment
  • Build positive working relationships with all staff and physicians
  • Develop future leadership within the organization
  • Encourage innovation and continuous improvement
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of healthcare management experience, with 5+ years in executive and/or regional operations role
  • 5+ years of Medical Group multispecialty care operations management experience
  • 3+ years of managing P&L over $200M
  • Experience in multispecialty care organizations, ideally in both FFS and value-based care model
