Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our dynamic team in Waterford, Michigan. This role involves engaging in complex engineering and construction assignments related to municipal water systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute civil engineering tasks focused on water, wastewater, and stormwater projects for municipal clients.
- Lead a team of engineers and technical support staff in the assessment and creation of plans and specifications.
- Oversee the planning and execution of water-related projects from inception through construction.
- Prepare detailed construction cost estimates and monitor construction activities in the field.
- Review contracts to identify critical parameters, timelines, and major tasks.
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and client directives.
- Participate in client meetings, including project and council meetings, occasionally outside regular hours.
- Foster effective collaboration with various divisions and departments involved in project services.
- Manage project forecasts, schedules, cost estimates, and quality control measures.
- Report any issues to Program Managers and task leaders promptly.
- Engage actively in civic and professional organizations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Municipal Water and/or Wastewater projects.
- Proven experience in the evaluation, planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities.
- Professional Engineer (PE) Registration in Michigan is required or must be obtained within 6 months.
- Familiarity with Project Management software is preferred.
- Experience in hydraulic modeling is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and technical writing skills are essential.
- Ability to navigate construction sites safely while adhering to all safety regulations.
