Healthy Living Program Facilitator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthy Living Program Facilitator to join our team at Colorado State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Healthy Living Program (HeLP) curriculum for parents, teens, and/or siblings in a weekly, family-inclusive program.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the HeLP curriculum in a group setting, promoting health and wellness among program participants.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to ensure the success of the program.
- Assist with the recruitment and retention of program participants, including outreach and marketing efforts.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve facilitation skills and stay up-to-date on best practices in public health education.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve program goals and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as public health, health education, or a related field.
- Experience working in a community-based setting, preferably in a public health or health education role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to facilitate discussion and lead groups in a dynamic and engaging manner.
- Basic knowledge of nutrition and physical activity principles, with a willingness to learn and grow in this area.
- Master's degree in a related field, such as public health, health education, or a related field.
- Experience working with culturally diverse populations, with a demonstrated ability to be culturally responsive.
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages, with the ability to communicate effectively with bilingual or multilingual populations.
- Experience as a role model, mentor, leader, or coach working with youth, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with program participants.
