Job Summary

The Front Desk Supervisor is a key member of our hotel team, responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and supporting the Front Desk Manager in achieving our hotel's goals. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Front Desk Manager in overseeing the front desk operations, including guest check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maximize room revenue through effective room merchandising and upselling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Front Desk team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of guest interactions, including complaints and compliments.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to improve front desk operations.
  • Assist in training new hires and providing ongoing support to the Front Desk team.
Requirements:
  • At least 2-3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
