Clinical Social Worker

The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide direct service to individuals in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing evidenced-based clinical treatments, psychiatric treatments, symptom/wellness management, trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, relapse prevention, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessments for all areas of the client's life as a member of the client's Individual Action Plan (IAP) Team.
- Develop a clinical formulation that will guide the development of the client's IAP, as assigned by the Program Director.
- Contribute expertise to staff members related to clinical, trauma-informed, psycho-educational, behavior management, and culturally competent services.
- Assess all areas of client risk and safety; provide crisis intervention, develop Crisis Management Plans in collaboration with the client and other supports/providers.
- Participate in regular quality improvement and utilization management activities consistent with CBFS policy and practice.
- A Master's or higher degree in social work.
- Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Certified Social Worker or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Social Work.
- Ability to communicate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record systems
- Bilingual or multilingual fluency
