About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at DriveTime Family of Brands. As a key member of our analytics team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing analytical solutions to support multiple products, business units, and verticals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business partners to define objectives and build appropriate analytical solutions
  • Partner with business customers to manage data for modeling and analytics
  • Work with Machine Learning Engineers to develop and implement models
  • Present results of analysis to leaders and colleagues
  • Lead and mentor junior data scientists to develop and implement analytical solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience working in a data scientist or statistician role
  • Demonstrated expertise in Python
  • Experience coaching junior data scientists and leading complete data science projects end-to-end
  • Expertise in RDBMS and Big Data environments such as Snowflake
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying statistical learning/machine learning techniques with significant business outcomes
