Job Summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team, you will be responsible for implementing compliance activities related to the management of Tanks and Sumps for US locations associated with the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) 737 Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the impact of emerging environmental issues, legislation, and regulations on company operations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor environmental management systems, processes, and programs
  • Act as primary site interface with regulatory agencies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience with environmental compliance, environmental program management, and regulatory affairs
  • 3+ years of experience in areas of air quality, stormwater, hazardous waste, industrial wastewater, spill prevention, storage tanks, environmental sampling, data analysis, and/or environmental reporting
  • 3+ years of experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, environmental science, chemistry, geology, or environmental management
  • Experience with environmental compliance and regulations
  • Environmental permitting experience
Working Conditions

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
