Loss Prevention Specialist

The Asset Protection Specialist is a vital role at The Home Depot, responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud. This position plays a key part in supporting safety and environmental program compliance in assigned stores.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports to minimize loss to the Company.
• Monitor the store's physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance and driving a shrink elimination culture in the store.
• Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence and interacting with law enforcement.
• Report any hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and carry out job responsibilities in a manner that minimizes the risk of injury to associates, vendors, customers, and the Company.
