Position Overview

The Sales Associate at Taylor Stitch plays a vital role in the success of our retail locations. In this role, you will embody the Company's values while engaging with customers daily and advancing your skills as a salesperson in our expanding organization. Our stores are vibrant hubs situated in lively neighborhoods, where we aim to provide exceptional customer service in a welcoming and relaxed environment while driving sales.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Customer Interaction

  • Proactively greet and engage with every customer.
  • Provide courteous and supportive advice on style and fit.
  • Acquire and utilize extensive product knowledge to enhance customer interactions, emphasizing the unique features and advantages of our offerings.
  • Collaborate with the e-commerce customer service team to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
  • Build a personal clientele by actively seeking new business opportunities and mastering the art of made-to-measure services.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, repairs, alterations, and customer inquiries with empathy and understanding.

Operational Duties

  • Maintain a clean, well-organized store and stockroom.
  • Assist in daily inventory management to ensure accuracy.
  • Support the management of clothing alterations.
  • Ensure the store is exceptionally merchandised, dynamic, and engaging.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred.
  • Strong sales and customer service abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Availability to work weekends.

Physical Requirements

  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to navigate staircases while carrying merchandise and store-related items.
  • Regularly perform store cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 30 lbs safely.
  • Comfortable using ladders.
