Position Overview:
As a seasoned professional in defense operations, your extensive experience empowers you to approach challenges with innovative solutions. We seek your profound industry insight and advisory capabilities to tackle some of our clients' most intricate issues while ensuring national security.

Role Responsibilities:
In the capacity of a Service Component Command EOD Planner, you will leverage your leadership and specialized knowledge to collaborate with industry experts on projects within the Indo-Pacific Area of Responsibility. Your contributions will include:

  • Providing strategic input to Army and Joint explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), counter-improvised explosive device (C-IED), and technical exploitation directives, policies, and programs.
  • Facilitating Operational Planning Teams (OPTs), boards, cells, conferences, and working groups, while responding to Requests for Information (RFI).
  • Engaging in the development, analysis, and evaluation of policies, processes, and systems that align with client needs.
  • Supporting initiatives related to security cooperation capacity building events and organizational assessments.
  • Ensuring synchronization of efforts across various functional areas and delivering comprehensive reports and briefs for senior military audiences.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) or Joint Planning.
  • At least 4 years of operational planning experience at the Division, Corps, Theater, Combatant Command, or Joint Staff level.
  • Familiarity with Theater Campaign Plans and National level Strategic guidance.
  • In-depth knowledge of EOD and C-IED planning and policy.
  • Capability to advance planning efforts from conceptualization to development and orders production, including senior-level operational briefings.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
  • A Top Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Graduation from Explosive Ordinance Disposal School.

Preferred Qualifications:
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are advantageous:

  • 4+ years of experience addressing challenges specific to the INDOPACOM AOR.
  • Experience with Weapons Technical Intelligence relevant to INDOPACOM policies and procedures.
  • Experience with Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to devise solutions to shared challenges.
  • Experience in facilitating working groups and meetings with diverse organizations.
  • Knowledge of the US Army Protection Warfighting Function, Homeland Defense Planning, and Multi-Domain Operations.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for presentations to senior leaders.
  • Completion of Military Education Level 4 Qualification Course or equivalent.

Clearance Requirements:
Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Top Secret clearance is mandatory.
