Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team at Expeditors. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing visitor access, and maintaining a secure and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome visitors and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ensure accurate knowledge of staff movements and maintain visitor logs
  • Monitor and control access to the office, maintaining a secure and safe environment
  • Process and send invoices, receive and sort mail, and maintain the reception area
  • Prepare and send FedEx labels, endorse and log incoming checks, and reconcile visitor logs
  • Assign PO numbers to purchases, order supplies, and code administrative payables invoices
  • Update the marquee, maintain extension lists, and create labels for personnel files and name plates
  • Manage travel spreadsheets, maintain temp hire and termination dates, and update employee photos
  • Place 911 calls as needed and complete training hours to meet annual goals
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist role with heavy phone and multiple line experience
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Stress tolerance and reliability
