Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and versatile Seasonal Part-Time Healthcare Support Specialists for our clinics. These roles are typically filled by Certified Medical Assistants and Licensed Vocational Nurses who exemplify teamwork and collaboration.

The title of Healthcare Support Specialist encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including front desk operations, patient registration, back-office assistance, triaging, and conducting lab tests. Above all, these specialists are compassionate, humble, and committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients and their families.

Work Environment and Team Dynamics

Our clinical team is supported by the Clinical Operations team, which collaborates closely with clinics to ensure optimal performance through inventory management, continuing education, and more. We celebrate our achievements through our Employee Engagement Platform, maintain open communication with leadership, and participate in regular company updates.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and triage patients upon arrival
  • Relay patient readiness and provide a brief overview of symptoms to the provider
  • Document patient visits in the electronic medical record system
  • Assist providers with procedures and patient care, including vaccinations and lab work
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam and treatment areas
  • Collect lab samples and communicate results to patients
  • Provide patient education and address follow-up inquiries
  • Manage front office tasks, including insurance verification and patient registration
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned
