Customer Support Specialist

Position Overview:
The Customer Support Specialist & Donation Processing Fill-In is an integral part of the Donor Care Department, directly reporting to the Manager of Support Drive Experience.
This role is tasked with handling incoming calls and facilitating donations during the organization's fundraising initiatives.Company Background:
Hope Media Group encompasses various radio stations and community outreach programs. This position is based in Houston, TX.
This role requires full onsite presence with various shift options available between 6:00 AM CST and 7:00 PM CST.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls from Spanish-speaking donors in a welcoming manner.
- Collect donor contact details and personal stories.
- Process monetary donations securely, ensuring confidentiality of donor information.
- Maintain the privacy of all donor data.
- Offer to pray with callers, if desired.
Spiritual Commitment:
Demonstrate faith by praying for colleagues during team meetings or with donors/listeners as needed. Participate in on-air fundraising efforts.
Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and exemplify a courteous, Christ-like demeanor in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Customer service background preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in technology, including laptops and phone systems.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Strong moral character and a heart for Christian ministry.
- Active membership in a Bible-believing local church.
Working Conditions:
Physical demands may include talking and hearing, as well as repetitive motions. The role may require exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.
Close visual acuity is necessary for tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, and extensive reading.
Compensation:
Hourly wage ranges from $13.00 to $15.00, depending on experience.
