Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to lead our Production Engineering and Maintenance Departments. As an Engineering and Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, technical expertise, and operational oversight to ensure the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Production Engineering and Maintenance Departments to achieve operational excellence and meet business objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain department budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to production staff, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and technical drawings.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma and Lean projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in engineering leadership, with direct leadership of staff.
  • Proven track record of success in leading cross-functional teams and driving process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Experience with maintenance management software, such as Maintimizer or MaintainX.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001:2015.
  • Ability to read prints and interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and data presentation software, such as Tableau.
