Job Overview

This exciting opportunity is part of our ongoing support to the USAID's Center for Education, focusing on education finance activities. You'll work closely with international partners, including governments, financial institutions, and non-profit organizations, to drive innovation and collaboration in education finance.

About the Role

You'll provide technical leadership and support in designing, implementing, and coordinating education finance-related programs. Your expertise will help shape the strategic direction of our education finance portfolio, ensuring it remains aligned with the latest research and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with EDU specialists to expand internal and external collaborators' knowledge of key tools, products, dialogues, exchanges, professional development opportunities, and policy developments that enhance financial sustainability in education programs.
  • Support management of the Education Finance Network, a community of practice for diverse education stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of strategic partnerships and alliances with relevant Center colleagues to develop, compile/stage, and promote education finance-related knowledge products and events that increase the use of research and evidence in the design and implementation of USAID's education programs.
  • Foster relationships with international partners on the implementation of key education finance studies and initiatives, as appropriate, and in coordination with Center for Education colleagues.
  • Lead strategic partnerships to bring together diverse stakeholders, including financial institutions, social impact investors, Family Offices, multilateral and bilateral donors, the Ministry of Education, and other key actors, to drive collaboration and innovation in education finance.
  • Participate in international conferences and deliver public technical presentations on a variety of topics related to education finance.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, International Education, or a related field, combined with at least six years of professional experience. Proven skills in research, writing, and analysis are essential, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in public or private finance activities, particularly in education, is highly desirable.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $105,000—$120,000 USD per annum, reflecting the company's commitment to providing competitive compensation and benefits.
