The Senior Corporate Banker is a high-level expert tasked with orchestrating the development of investment strategies and solutions tailored for significant market clients in collaboration with the Institutional Banking division. The primary aim of this position is to enhance
revenue through the effective cross-selling of the Citi platform while judiciously utilizing the firm's capital and assessing and managing risk.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Collaborate with Senior Bankers to deliver comprehensive relationship management support.
+ Aid in daily cash management operations, trading activities, vendor financing, foreign exchange transactions, loan processing, debt capital market initiatives, share repurchase programs, and interest rate/equity derivatives.
+ Assist Bankers in cross-selling a complete range of products and services by identifying client needs to drive revenue growth.
+ Evaluate public disclosures, research documents, operational strategies, business proposals, and financial projections to generate strategic and financial assessments.
+ Stay informed about market dynamics, industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
+ 6-10 years of relevant experience.
+ In-depth knowledge of the Corporate Banking sector and its associated products, relevant regulations, and the lending and credit approval processes.
+ Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.
+ Strong skills in planning, negotiation, organization, and analysis.
+ Experience working with large corporate clients and familiarity with capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade finance, and securities offerings.
+ Possession of Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
