Job Summary

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Ground Systems Hardware Engineer to support a System Program Office (SPO) in procuring satellite vehicles with associated ground segments. The ground segment consists of ground command and control (C2) software and hardware, including Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) and networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support for major program acquisitions and their related Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contracts.
  • Lead the development branch and procure ground RF hardware and antenna systems.
  • Leverage expertise in full life cycle system support from procurement to O&M, including requirements analysis, requirements tracking, system design and development through system test, delivery, installation, and sell-off.
  • Oversee and guide system development, testing, analysis, and requirements verification related to the procurement of ground RF and antenna subsystems.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
  • Proficiency in DOORS, CSEP, and PMP.
  • Familiarity with space systems ground segment acquisitions and related O&M of those systems and their ground sites.
  • Familiarity with ground command and control (C2) software and hardware.
