Job Title: Recreational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team at OhioHealth Neuro Transitional Center. As a Recreational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients with acquired brain injuries or spinal cord injuries regain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement community integration activities and leisure activities tailored to patient needs.
  • Transport patients on community outings and ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Document patient progress and coordinate with the rehab manager to ensure seamless weekend activities.
  • Collaborate with the transdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Therapeutic Recreation required.
  • Current national certification from NCTRC as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) required.
  • Current State Driver's License in good standing required.
  • Experience in a medical setting preferred.
