Recreational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team at OhioHealth Neuro Transitional Center. As a Recreational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients with acquired brain injuries or spinal cord injuries regain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement community integration activities and leisure activities tailored to patient needs
  • Transport patients on community outings
  • Document patient progress and coordinate with the rehab manager
  • Collaborate with the transdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Therapeutic Recreation
  • Current national certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)
  • Current State Driver's License in good standing
  • Experience in a medical setting
