About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recreational Therapist to join our team. As a Recreational Therapist, you will be responsible for planning and implementing appropriate recreation activities for patients in accordance with guidelines set by the organization, hospital, and the profession.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement recreation activities for patients
  • Provide therapeutic recreation intervention for an assigned caseload
  • Orient patients to recreation therapy and provide hospital-wide leisure, social, and divergent programs
  • Serve as an educator to patients on community resources

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation required
  • Current national certification from NCTRC as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or eligible to take exam required
